Pinterest has 200M Visitors Announces to Launch New Features

Pinterest has has 200 million monthly active users, which is a significant milestone and represent a growth of 40% over last year. Another important consideration is that half of these active users are from outside the USA.

It has also been noted by the company that more than 100 billion pins have been created and 85%of the searched on Pinterest have been through mobile phones.

It is time for celebration for Pinterest as it acknowledge these milestones, along with this the company is planning to bring out some new features very soon.

Pinterest says that the visitors have told them as to what they expect from them next and this is the reason they are creating them, it is that simple.

An example of one such new feature, the one that has been requested by visitors is Pinch-to-Zoom. There are many more things that are still to come, says Pinterest.

The second new feature is boards-within-boards, which has been a highly requested feature and the company is working on it currently and it will be rolled out gradually.

In the coming weeks, selected users will be invited by Pinterest to assist the company in checking out new features.

In return to the assistance provided, these users will get the opportunity to use the upcoming features on Pinterest before anyone else can.

It has not been disclosed by Pinterest as to whom it will send the invite, but it has stated that it will make the announcement very soon about this in the coming future.
