Facebook has made the announcement that it will roll out a new video platform for all its users in the US in the next few days.
The platform is known as Watch, and people can choose from hundreds of original shows it will have.
The Facebook will prime this platform by enabling its users to create shows of 20 – 30 minutes. Ultimately, Facebook is in plans to open up privileges for content-marketing for everyone.
The announcement for this platform was initially made in early August and it will take the place of the present video tab on Facebook on desktop, mobile and TV.
Talking about what it has got for Facebook, this new feature will certainly increase the ad revenue for the company, particularly at a time when the company has run out of space for advertising in its News feed section.
Videos are already shared and watched regularly by billions of users on Facebook, so it becomes obvious that they will tap on the tab and will continue to do so.
